Unfortunately, on their first long distance trip, the had an accident in San Francisco, which totalled their 5th Wheel. They bought another one from friends just across the street from them, so moving was easy.

They both have a little Irish in them, so Lá Fhéile Pádraig (St. Patrick's Day ) is a BIG DEAL for them!

Tom has really gotten into Ham Radio since the first of the year. His Call Sign is KX7TRW, and you can usually find him hanging out on 440.400 MHz, in the afternoons. He works both the 2 meter and 70 cm bands, and is a member of Hoodview Amateur Radio Club.

He holds an Amateur Extra Class ticket, the highest you can go!

Tom says, "I use two radios, a Baofeng UV82-HP hand-held, and a QYT KT-8900D. Both are Dual
Band, 2 meters and 70 Cm. I have a dual band J-Pole antenna in the backyard, for the KT-8900D.
During the better weather, my 'Shack' is out on the patio, where I can smoke my cigars. During the
cooler weather, I move it all inside (except the J-Pole). 73's, everybody!
